Banani fire: Though there was a staircase to escape from the fire at the FR Tower, it was Taliban
After the death of 25 people after the fire in Banani FR Town in Dhaka, fire officials now say that the building had a staircase to escape from the potential fire - but it was Taliban.
"There was a shortage of fire safety in the building, but there was an iron staircase as fire escape, it was found locked on different floors," - told BBC Bangla Senior Station Officer Shajahan Shikder.
It has been found that this staircase was made of iron frames and was very narrow during the fire.
Firefighters said that after the formal investigations, it can be known after how the fire happened or how much damage occurred.
The Fire Department at the Fire Station after the search operation ended Friday. At around 2:30 pm, they explained to the police the responsibility of the building.
"We have searched every place in the building, and no bodies have been found," - BBC told firefighting officer Shajahan Shikder.

He said, "After conducting searches on the night, we started work again from 6am onwards. There is no possibility of fresh fire origination."
He said many of the offices in the building are in random condition. An open laptop, wallet, dollar or money was seen to be lying.
After the responsibility of the police, the offices of those buildings in the building - their representatives were allowed to enter. They will be monitoring their organization's status.
Police Inspector General of Police Javed Patwari told reporters, "We took responsibility for building from fire. Now a team of BUET will check the building to see if its infrastructure is up to date. "
"It will be decided based on when the building will be fully opened."
He said preparations for filing a case against the fire are underway. But they are hoping that anyone from the family of the injured or the victims will come forward to file a case. If not, then the police will be sued by the plaintiff.
Regarding building owners, he said that they are being investigated, but there is no communication yet.
